Nathan was born November 9, 1993, in Waco to Patricia Romo and Isaac Hernandez, Jr. He was a sophomore at Lorena High School and was a member of the football team. He had been a member of the Young Marines. His big smile would lighten up every room that he walked into. He had the natural ability to make others laugh and smile with him. He freely gave away his hugs and was everyone's big teddy bear. Nathan is our true hero and continues to give his love away through his organ donations. He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Andrew Romo, Sr., and Haynes Morris; and his cousin, Tony Fraga, Jr. He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Ramon and Leigh Ann Romo; grandmother, Margaret Salazar; sisters, Briana Hernandez and Alyssia Ramos; aunts, Josie Romo, Barbara Hernandez and Roxanne Fraga; uncles, Austin Romo, Ramon Romo, Jr., Mike Fimbres, Abel Salazar and Juan Cano; his girl friend, Brikale Payne; and numerous other family members. Pallbearers are Ramon Romo, Jr., Austin Romo, Abel Salazar, Juan Cano, Christopher West, CJ Forsey, Joshua Thomas and Zachary Lee. Honorary pallbearers are members of the 2010-11 Lorena Leopard Football Team and Coaches. The family would like to thank the Scott and White Hospital ICU team for their care and compassion for Nathan.
