Ola Marlene Taylor April 30, 1937 - April 19, 2007 Marlene Taylor of Bruceville passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Regent Care Center. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Bruceville Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Bruceville-Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Marlene was born April 30, 1937 in Lorena, TX to Albert Deward Taylor and Lena Mae Appleby Taylor. She attended Bruceville-Eddy School and was a life-long member of Bruceville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Maxine Mills. She is survived by her sisters, Marcile Sullins of Woodway; Mildred Carpenter of Hewitt; one brother, Thomas Taylor and wife, Graciela of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Don Sullins, Larry Lathern, Louie Sullins, David Polley, Jackie Neal Smith and C.W. Scott. The family wants to thank Dr. Barbin and the staff of both Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and Regent Care Center. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bruceville Baptist Church, P.O.
