Orville Mack Jobe, Jr. December 14, 1940 December 12, 2008 Orville Mack Jobe, Jr., passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008, at his home in Crawford, TX. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2008, at Oakwood Cemetery, with Minister Dawn Gilliland officiating. Orville was born December 21, 1940 in Waco, TX. He attended Midway High School and received a degree in Economics from Texas Tech University. Following graduation he and his wife began a life-long pursuit of adventure through travel and business. Orville's travel adventures primarily focused upon many extended tours throughout the Northwest, including several trips with his family throughout this country's National Parks. Orville's business ventures included the Viking Inn and Thrift Motels, Jobe Outdoor Sign Co., and Jobe Properties. He continued his pursuit for adventure until his death. Orville is preceded in death by his parents, Orville Mack Jobe, Sr., and Violet Smith Jobe Fason; his sister, Noel Kavanaugh Williams. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Jobe; his children, Byron Jobe and wife Suzanne, Carolyn Kelleher and husband William, Hudson Jobe and wife Heather; grandchildren, Cade Bruck and Harrison, Mallory and Hayden Jobe; his sister, Avis Jobe; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Woodway First United Methodist Church or Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue of Waco are appreciated.
