Ouida Waldrop

Ouida Sellers Waldrop passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021. Services will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Crestview Church of Christ with Scott Talley officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, Monday, August 23, 2021 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Ouida was born October 22, 1924, in Waco, TX, to Chester and Iva Lee Sellers. Ouida graduated from Prairie Hill High School in 1941. She worked at Citizens National Bank and S. J. Guthrie Realty Company. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking, was an avid Texas Longhorn fan, and loved being with her family and friends. Her thoughtfulness and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Eloise Myers, her son Thomas (Flash). She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Sellers of Waco, Sherrill (Sam) Jenkins and brother-in-law, Dick, of Georgetown; daughter, Cynthia Webb of Waco; son, Lloyd Waldrop of Rockwall; and son, Burton Waldrop of Waco. She had 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a children’s home of your choice.
