Quentin Neill Haug

Quentin N. Haug, 81, passed away January 12, 2024, at Providence Hospice Place. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Boulevard. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.


Quentin was born November 28, 1942, in Bryan, TX to Virginia Faye (Wolff) Haug and Edwin Walter Haug. He worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty-six years, retiring in 1998. Following the death of each of their spouses, Quentin and Jan met in 1992 and were married April 7, 1994.


Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Jan Haug; daughter, Tammy Massirer and husband, Royce; son, Matt Haug; daughter, Emily Carter and husband, Daniel; son, Eddie Haug and wife, Stephanie; step-son, Ray Volcik; step-daughter, Kelly Volcik and husband, Eric Brown; brother, Wayne Haug and wife, Judy; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, friends, and other extended family.


Jan would like to sincerely thank all of the nurses and doctors that have cared for Quentin over the years, and a special Thank You to the nurses and doctors at Providence Hospital and Providence Hospice for their compassionate care of Quentin as well.
