CASTILLO, RAFAEL E. Rafael E. Castillo, 84, of Waco died Saturday, October 19 at the Temple V.A. hospital. Military graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Castillo was born December 3, 1917 in Mooreville. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during WWII. He worked at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home for over 30 years as a funeral and cemetery attendant. Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Castillo, on August 16, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rosemary Mendoza, on July 24, 1995. Survivors include daughters, M.B. Castaneda, Rita Enriquez, Maria Mary Jane Navarro, and Elidia Castillo, all of Waco; sons, Reyes Castaneda of Waco, Davis Castaneda of Waco, Ralph Castillo, Jr. of Houston, Robert Castillo of Waco, Jesse Castillo of Montana, and Tony Castaneda of Waco; sister, Rosa Fuentes of Waco; brothers, Roy Castillo of Temple and Calletano Castillo of Waco; 29 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Davis Gonzalez, Davis Castaneda, Thomas Enriquez, Eric Enriquez, Raymond Mendoza, III, Christopher Navarro, Jesse Castillo, Jr., and Christopher Castaneda.
