Retha "Tip" Starr Harvey August 20, 1925 - December 17, 2010 Retha "Tip" Starr Harvey of Waco passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, at Wesley Woods Alzheimer's Care Center. Graveside Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, at the Starr Family Cemetery in Elkhart, TX. Retha was born August 20, 1925, in Elkhart, Texas, to A.R. and Ruth E. Starr. She worked at Cox's in Waco as a bookkeeper for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. R. and Ruth Hamby Starr; husband, Charles T. Harvey; and six of her eight siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Harvey; brother, Larry Starr and wife, Nancy; sister, June Starr; and many nieces and nephews.
