NICOSIA, REVA Reva Nicosia, age 83, of Waco died Friday, February 22, 2002 in a local hospital. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Tuesday, February 26 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Melvin Dornak officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM, Monday, February 25 at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. David Liebham officiating. A committal service will be held at a later time at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Nicosia was born February 3, 1919 in Mexia, Texas to George Washington Rodgers & Lela Jackson Rodgers. She married R.T. Nicosia on June 8, 1937 in Waco at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Reva taught her children and grandchildren by way of example, the way to live and treat others. She was a loving and caring person at all times. She always found the good in every situation. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Survivors: husband, R.T. Nicosia of Waco; daughter, Marie Nicosia of Clermont, Florida; sons, Anthony Joseph Nicosia of Bruceville, Ralph Timothy Nicosia of Wimberly, Texas, Michael Eugene Nicosia of Corpus Christi, John Christopher Nicosia of Lorena; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and special friends Johnny and Martha Bigham.
