Robert Earl Hopper

Robert Earl Hopper of Waco passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 20, at Crestview Church of Christ in Waco. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.Wednesday, December 19, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Robert was born November 22, 1954 in Waco, TX to George Dea Milton Hopper, Jr. and Mable Hopper. He was a member of Crestview Church of Christ and active in bible study classes and delivering communion to rest homes and shut-ins. He was an avid motorcyclist, sports fan and a proud new grandfather. Robert was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Hopper of Waco; sons, Clinton Hopper and wife, Amy; and Chris Hopper and wife, Jennifer; his mother, Mable Hopper; sister: Sharon Elizabeth Russell; and brothers, George Hopper and wife, Michele; and Ron Hopper and wife, Michele; and grandson, Landen Tank Hopper; and many nieces and nephews.
