Rodney Lee Griffin February 11, 1961 - December 25, 2013 Rodney Lee Griffin of Mt. Calm passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, December 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Rodney was born February 11, 1961 in Waco, Texas to Richard and Bobi Griffin. He worked at Fed-Ex as a courier for 24 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ruby Griffin, Herald Sullins and Thelma Sullins; and cousin, Ray Griffin. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tanya Kay Griffin of Mt Calm, Texas; daughters, Tiffany Battles and husband, Darren Battles of Mt.Calm and Alexis Griffin of Mt.Calm; grandchildren, Hunter Lee Battles and Tynsley Ray Battles, his parents, Richard Dale Griffin and Bobi Ann Griffin of China Spring, Texas. Also surviving are his three older brothers, Richy H.Griffin, Randy A. Griffin and Ronny D. Griffin; nephews, Josh Griffin, Jeffery Griffin and Colton Griffin; nieces, Lacey Romine, Tiffany M. Griffin, Lindsey Griffin and Jaislyn Griffin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Honorary pallbearers are his brothers, Richie Griffin, Randy Griffin and Ronny Griffin, nephew, Josh Griffin, childhood friend, Charlie Campbell and son-in-law, Darren Battles.
