ROSE MOORE May 18, 1927 – October 11, 2005 Rose Marie Moore, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Service and interment will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2005, at The Mausoleum at Waco Memorial Park North. Msgr. Mark Deering will be the celebrant. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home on Bosque Blvd. Rose was born May 18, 1927, in Kingsbury, Texas, to Eugene Richard Ganske and Frances Bialas Ganske. She graduated from high school in Boling, TX, and became an X-ray and medical laboratory technician. She worked many years at the Outlar and Blair Medical Clinic in Wharton, Texas, where she met and married Edward H. Moore on September 7, 1955. Two children were born in Wharton, and two more in Dallas where the family lived for ten years. The family moved to Waco in 1968 and became members of St. Louis Catholic Church. Mrs. Moore was the loving mother of her four children, sacrificing her own ambitions to their well-being during their formative years. She enjoyed writing poetry, oil painting, baking, gardening, traveling, fishing and camping, and playing 42 dominoes with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, George Ganske, and sister, Hildegard Farmer. Surviving are her husband and her children: David Moore and wife, Toni, of Iola; Annette Moore of Houston; Fran Kroll and husband, Ronnie, of West; and Lisa Davis and husband, Clifton, of Wylie. She is also survived by her brother, Eugene Raymond Ganske and wife, Dorothy, of Boling, and several nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren, James and Rose Moore of Iola; Jason, Brian and Kevin Khoury of West; and Riley, Jennifer and Diana Davis of Wylie will be honorary pallbearers.
