Shirley Brown Marlow July 31, 1935 - April 26, 2012 Shirley Marlow of Waco passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, at home with her family. A private family graveside service was held at Oakwood Cemetery with Reverend Chris Mesa officiating. Shirley was born July 31, 1935, to Ross and Lois Brown. She was reared in Waco, where she attended Waco schools until she went to The Hockaday School in Dallas. She married Donald Marlow on June 5, 1954. After beginning their life together in Amarillo, Shirley and Donald returned to Waco where they reared four daughters. She was a sweet and precious wife and mother. Life centered around her family and friends who have many wonderful memories of their times with her. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ross Brown, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Marlow; daughters, Melissa Closs and husband, Ace of Waco, Millie Marlow of Austin, Marsha Marlow of Austin, and Molly Holloway and husband, Brian of Garland; grandchildren, J. and Don Closs, Shannon Schwarting and Jake, Clif and Neal Holloway.
