STANLEY Q. SMITH Stanley Q. Smith, age 67, of Ruidoso, NM, formerly of Waco, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 in Houston. Services will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday, February 9 at Crestview Church of Christ with Ministers Scott Talley, Brad Cox and Chris Hatchett officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, February 8 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 10 at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, TX. Mr. Smith was born May 15, 1935 in Flat River, Missouri. He was reared and educated in Odessa and Seymour, Texas. He graduated from Seymour High School and Abilene Christian College. On August 18, 1956, he married Rosemary Jones in Vernon. He worked for 3-M Pharmaceutical Sales for 34 years, retiring June 1, 1995. He had been a resident of Waco for 21 years and Ruidoso, NM since 1995. Mr. Smith was a member and elder of Gateway Church of Christ in Ruidoso and formerly of Crestview Church of Christ in Waco. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary J. Smith of Ruidoso, NM; daughter, Natalie Buresh and husband Dale of Vernon; sons, Robert Leallen Smith and wife Joan of Houston, and Rodney Dale Smith and wife Nancy of Allen; and nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Rose, Andrew, Matthew Stanley, Catherine, Christina, Kasey and Benjamin.
