Thelma Camille Lindloff

March 12, 1908 — May 29, 2001

LINDLOFF, THELMA Thelma Lindloff, age 93, of Waco died Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at a local nursing home. Services will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 1st at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Disney and Rev. Jim Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-8:30 PM Thursday, May 31st at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ms. Lindloff attended Waco public schools and Toby’s Business College. She worked for Cotton Belt Railroad for 20 years and for the City of Waco Water Dept. for eight years. She married Albert E. Lindloff on August 22, 1936, he preceded her in death on February 26, 1974. She was a member of Central United Methodist Women, Fellowship Class, AARP, Central Saints and a charter member of Olson-Forsgard Vasa Lodge. She served as Sunday school teacher and superintendent in children’s department of church school and president of United Methodist Women of Trinity United Methodist Church, which is now Central United Methodist Church. She also served on Meal On Wheels program. Survivors include: Sister: Mary Faires of Waco. Half sister: Betty Berleen of Canyon Lake, CA. Half brother: Jay E. Massman of Rancho Murieta, CA. Niece: Rosemary and husband, Dr. Charles DuLaney, Niece and Godchild: Mary Louise and husband, Rev. Jim Cox, Nephew: Ronnie Massman, Great nieces: Deborah Butler and husband, Gary and Lisa Moorefield all of Waco Lt. JG Christi Cox of Norfolk, VA Katy Kupcak and husband, Jared of Tuscaloosa, AL Great nephews: Clint Massman and Travis Massman, Great great niece: Heather Butler, Great great nephews: Christopher Butler and Donovan Moorefield, all of Waco Pallbearers will be Dr. Charles DuLaney, Ronnie Massman, Gary Butler, Clifford Lindloff, Paul Lindloff, Jr., Jimmie Lindloff, and Fred Larson.
