Theresa "Terry" Nadine Mancil Campbell July 30, 1936 April 13, 2008 Theresa Nadine Mancil Campbell, 71, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008, with her family by her side. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at First United Methodist Church of Waco with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 8 p.m., Friday, May 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Theresa was born July 30, 1936, to George and Betty Mancil in New Orleans, Louisiana, who predeceased her. She attended high school in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from Texas Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth, TX. She married Robert Maurice Campbell on August 13, 1959, and taught home economics for several years before they had children. Theresa's associations were very important to her where many of her lifelong friendships were made. She served as President and was an active member of the Potpourri Study Club, The Federation Clubhouse and The Birthday Club. She was co-founder and President of the La Bueno Garden Club and served as Girl Scout Troop leader. She is survived by her husband, Maurice; her daughters, Karen Campbell-Shupe and husband, Tom; Sharon Campbell and partner, Jennifer; and Diane Campbell McGaugh and husband, Keith; and grandchildren, Jordan Hurlburt and Shelby Shupe; Mason and Marlie Campbell; and Aiden and Von McGaugh; sister, Sylvia Mandeville, Stanley Mancil and wife, Jean, and Eric Mancil and wife, Debbie; sister-in-law to Tony Campbell and wife, Annette, Pat Clay and husband, Don, Bette McCorkle and husband, Bob. Theresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was aunt to many nieces and nephews that she adored. Theresa's many loyal friends added much richness to her life and many wonderful memories that she shared often. She always put her family and friends needs before her own and was caretaker to many. Pallbearers will be Tom Shupe, Keith McGaugh, Jordan Hurlburt, Richie Kuenstler, Dean McCorkle, Paul Campbell, Brian Tave and Tony Mancil. Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Potpourri Club. Special thanks to Joyce and Pam from Providence Home Health Care and Janetta from Providence Hospice and the many other family and friends for helping Theresa and her family through this difficult time. Theresa was an angel on this earth and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
