Tomasa Silva Pena September 18, 1920 - August 5, 2008 Tomasa Pena of Waco passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, at St. Francis on the Brazos with Father Hilario Guajardo as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. followed by Rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Tomasa was born September 18, 1920 in Hallsburg, TX to Telesforo and Juanita Rosales Silva. She loved her family and being with her friends, helping others whenever she could. She enjoyed music and playing dominoes. She was also a lifelong member of St. Francis on the Brazos. She was preceded in death by her parents; Antonio Garcia Pena; great grandson, Richard D. Gonzales II; five sisters and four brothers. She is survived by son, Antonio Tony Pena, Jr. and wife, Margaret; daughter, Lillie Mae Pena of San Antonio; grandsons, Patrick, Christopher, Michael and Richard Gonzales; granddaughter, Stefene Pena Sheffield; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Pete Almanza, Lupe Ramon, Jr., Steve Sheffield, Ralph Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzales, Richard D. Gonzales, Patrick Gonzales and Michael Gonzales. The family would like to extend their thanks to Southern Care Hospice and to Carol Steiger, Mrs. Pena's nurse.
