VICKY CALDERON July 26, 1962-December 1, 2005 Vicky Lynn Halford Calderon, 43, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 at her home after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6 at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, with the Rev. Suzanne Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 5 in the Garden Room at the funeral home. Mrs. Calderon was born July 26, 1962 in Vernon, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Dean Halford. They moved to Matador, Texas, where Vicky graduated from high school in 1981. She then moved to Vernon where she married David Calderon on September 24, 1983. They moved to Axtell in 1993. Vicky moved to Troy where Raymond Gonzales and she continued her AKC/CKC registered dog business. Surviving are David Calderon, Raymond Gonzales; her daughter, Crystal Michelle Calderon Porter and husband, Jerry Don; granddaughter, Stormie Lynn Porter; David and Amanda Gonzalez; grandson, Jeremy Dakota Lynn Gonzalez; brothers, Randal Ray Halford and wife, Tammie and James Wayne Halford ; nephew, Robert Randal Halford; and nieces, Jamie and Alisha Moore; Heather, Jennifer, Elisa, and Amber Halford. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Dean Halford on February 23, 2002 and mother, Carol Sue McAlister Halford on March 7, 1990.
