MCDONALD, VIRGIE PARDO Virgie Pardo McDonald, of Waco, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, January 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, January 15 at the funeral home. Mrs. McDonald was born in Kerens, Texas. She was reared and educated in Waco. She graduated from Waco High. She married Lawrence Pardo June 14, 1940 in Waco. He preceded her in death February 24, 1990. She married Everett McDonald November 7, 1993. She worked for Montgomery Ward in the personnel department and later worked for Sears and Roebuck Co. retiring after 25 years of service as a division manager. Mrs. McDonald was a member of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of Sul Ross Senior Center. Survivors include husband, Everett McDonald of Waco; daughter, Larian Carson and husband, Mike of Georgetown; grandson, Chris Carson and wife, Deannise of Bentonville, Arkansas; great granddaughter, Shelby Carson; stepchildren, Danny Wayne McDonald and wife, Sarah, Edith Fournie and husband, Ed, and Shirley Eames and husband, Roger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry Pardo, Carl McDonald, E. J. Smith, Bill Hilton, Danny Wayne McDonald, and Chris Carson. Honorary pallbearers are R. L. James, Bill Dyers, Floyd Pack, and Lindle Rabbe.
