Virginia Louise Harriss Magruder November 8, 1917 – December 28, 2005 Virginia Harriss Magruder passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at St. Catherine's Center in Waco. Graveside service will be at 11:30 am Monday, January 9, 2006 at Oakwood Cemetery with Father Patrick Ebner officiating. Virginia was born November 8, 1917 in Waco, TX to Hubert Lee and Lucy Beckham Turner. She was first married to Robert Leslie Harriss and later to Lawson W. Magruder, Jr. He is survived by son Robert Harriss and wife Sandra of Boulder, CO; and daughter Valerie Harriss of Lexington, KY; grandson Brian Harriss and wife Kelly of Lenexa, VA; one granddaughter Suzanne Harriss Gilbert and husband John of Columbus, OH; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Leslie Harriss and Lawson W Magruder, Jr. Memorial donations may be made to Favorite Charity.
