William Thomas Hufnall, Jr. November 10, 1920 - May 24, 2007 William Thomas Hufnall, Jr., 86, of Pearland, TX, a former resident of Waco for 21 years, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007. Services will be held in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Msrg. Mark Deering officiating. William was born November 10, 1920 in San Antonio, TX. Recognized as a highly decorated veteran of WWII, he served in the U. S. Army and Air Force as a bombardier. He participated in the bombing missions in the China-Burma and European theaters. He was a retired accountant of Exxon Corporation. He was the loving husband of Hermina Novak Hufnall for 47 years, who preceded him in death in 1994. William is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lea, and husband, Dr. A. Scott Lea of Pearland, TX; his son, William Hufnall and wife, Nadine of Weimer, TX; was the loving grandfather to five grandchildren: Melissa Lea Harris and husband, Michael of Katy, TX, Scott Townsend Lea of Dallas, TX, Kathryn Hayes Lea of Pearland, TX, John Campbell of Austin, TX and Jeff Campbell of Houston, TX. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. A. Scott Lea, Dr. Walker A. Lea, Jr, Scott Townsend Lea, John Campbell, Jeff Campbell and Phillip McDaniel.
