Ann Robertson

Ann Robertson December 6, 1905 – December 20, 2005 Ann Robertson passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Quality Care of Waco. Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday, December 22 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce McCarver officiating. Ann was born December 6, 1905 in Panola County, TX to Porter and Emma Stokes. She was married as a teenager to Chester Brooks who passed away in 1930. In 1937 she married Tommie Robertson who died in 1950. Early in her life she and Mr. Brooks owned a drive-in restaurant in Tyler, TX. The rest of her life she was a housewife. She loved her pets, her birds and her flowers. She was a longtime member of North Waco Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Mildred Brooks Cashion and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two brothers, John D. Stokes and Bert Stokes and a sister, Velma Allred.
