Anthony Don Smith

Anthony Don “Rebel” Smith, 52, of Mexia, Texas, formerly of Waco, passed away on September 1, 2022, while out on the road.

A celebration of his life will be held at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710, on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 11 am. All who ride a motorcycle are asked to please ride it to the celebration so that Rebel can have the send-off he deserves.

Rebel was born on June 10, 1970, to Sandra Smith of Waco, Texas. Rebel was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed hunting, fishing, being on a boat, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his only child, Kayla Smith, of Waco; grandchildren Serinity McNett and Gavyn Tucker; mother, Sandra Smith; brother, Thomas Smith; sister, Pamela Callaway; all of Waco, and fiancé, Susie Collins, of Mexia.

Preceding him in death are his grandmother, Dorothy Sherrard, and grandfather, Thomas Sherrard of Waco.
