Bernice Gertrude Wilson, 99, of Clarksville, formerly of Waco passed away Thursday, April 21, 2005 at a Clarksville nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 23 at Rosemound cemetery with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Mrs. Wilson was born in Eastland County on September 13, 1905 to Lee and Olevia Ashabranner. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star E.C. Cannon Baylor Lodge. She served as a worthy matron several times and held many other offices in the lodge. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward W. Wilson; son, Edward Lee Wilson; sisters, Thelma Glaze, Bertha Frazier; brothers, Alpha Ashabranner and Burr Ashabranner. Survivors include her grandchildren, Kevin Wilson, Amy Wilson; sister, Etah Coyel of Clarksville, TX and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
