Blanche "B" Casey July 18, 1920 - December 14, 2013 Blanche Lenora Casey of Waco passed away Saturday, December 14 , 2013, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Big Spring, Texas. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Blanche was born July 18, 1920, in Abilene, Texas to William Monroe and Nettie Echols. She married Bill Casey on January 31, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas. She was employed by Hemphill-Wells and First Federal Savings and Loan in Lubbock. Bill and B moved to Waco in 1963. After moving to Waco she enjoyed playing golf, served as President of the Lake Waco Women's Association in 1966 and enjoyed entertaining friends, neighbors and family. They enjoyed traveling having gone to Hawaii, Ireland, and touring the United States in their R.V. with several of their friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William B. Casey; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one sister, Sunny Tackett of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter, Johnita Hinton of Big Spring, TX; three grandsons, Blane Hinton of Allen, Pete Hinton and wife Connie of San Antonio, and Joby Hinton and wife Leah of Lubbock; five great-grandchildren; Hayden, Willie and Taylor Hinton of Georgia; Kylee and Brett Hinton of Lubbock and numerous nieces and nephews.
