Cathy Hough

Cathy Hough, 70, of Waco, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025. A funeral service to honor Cathy Hough's life will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, located at 6101 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, TX, 76710.

Cathy was born in Waco, TX, November 5,1955, to Joseph Daniel Bearden and Wilma Hazel Bearden. Cathy met the love of her life, Charles Dana Hough in 1975. Excited to start their new lives together, the two married on September 16, 1976. Cathy was known for being an excellent cook. She delighted in preparing delicious food to share with her family and loved trying out new recipes and made the best chicken and dumplings.

Cathy had a quick wit, great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Cathy was highly competitive! Cathy's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Wilma Bearden, sister Dana Bearden, Brother-in-Law Ted Reynolds and recently by her sister Rene Reynolds.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Dana Hough, son Joseph Bearden and his wife, Yvonne, along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Cathy's final gift was to science; she was a whole-body donor, furthering medical discovery.
