Charlene McArthur passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 5, at Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Roger Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Charlene was born December 8, 1938, in Hobart, Oklahoma, to Robert and Avis Heiney. Charlene graduated from Hobart High School in 1957, where she met her sweetheart and future husband, Donnie. Charlene and Donnie were married August 23, 1959, and enjoyed 58 years together, raising two daughters. She worked full-time to support her husband, while he pursued his dental and specialty degrees. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loving friend to all who knew her. She always put her family and others before herself. Charlene was a beautiful lady who was very artistic and creative. She was loved and cherished by her family and friends and will be forever missed. She is survived by her husband, Don of Waco; daughters, Misty Homlitas and husband, Doug, of Beaverton, Oregon, and Cindy Dickson and husband, Doug, of Waco; two grandchildren, Jacob and Aubrie Dickson, of Waco; sister, Lois McCray and husband, Sam, of Enid, Oklahoma; and brother, Bob Heiney of Hobart, Oklahoma.
