Cheryl “Cherry” Marsh Millington, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
Cherry was born on July 30, 1943, in Cambridge, New York, the daughter of the late Herman and Jean (Bentley) Marsh, and was raised in Hoosick Falls, New York. She was employed in sales and customer service until her retirement. She enjoyed sports, particularly tennis, which she played until the age of 65. Cherry also enjoyed reading, gardening, visiting with neighbors and friends, and spending time with her goldendoodle, Lizee. She was known for her thoughtful, friendly nature and ability to make friends wherever she went.
Cherry was preceded in death by her sisters, Lori Gardner and Jo Ann Hawks; her brother-in-law, Donald Hawks; and her beloved labradoodle, Lilee.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Millington, and wife Ronda, Andrew Millington, and wife Christine, James Millington, and wife Kim, and Michael Millington, and partner Paul Knouse; grandchildren, Zachary Millington, and wife Kassie, Jonathan Millington, Nicholle Compton, and husband MacGuire, and Mats Millington; great-grandchildren, Liam, Jensen, Selby, and Runa-Bren Millington; her sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Bill Grennan; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Karen Marsh; her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Howard Wright; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; her former daughter-in-law and friend, Kendra Millington; her goldendoodle, Lizee; and a host of friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to NP Patricia Stark; the staff of Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center; Texas Oncology and Dr. Ofobuike Okani; Waco Cardiology; MD Anderson Cancer Center; Ascension at Home; Nori Foley; Compassus Hospice Services; and Royal Manor II for their compassionate care.
