Cirila Moreno Muñoz

Cirila “Ciri” Moreno Muñoz passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at home with her son by her side.

Her graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, at Rosemound Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

She will lie-in-state at the funeral home on Thursday, September 3 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm for those that would like to pay their respects.

She was born on April 20, 1935, in El Dorado, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Inez Moreno Rios and Pabla “Paula” Muñoz Morales. She was the third of ten children and outlived them all.

At 22 years old, she had her one and only child, Jaime Moreno Blake, with her partner Jorge Antonio Blake Mucharaz.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her son, Jaime and wife, Rocio; granddaughter, Sarai Cuevas, and husband, Irie Friend, grandson, Josh Blake, and granddaughter, Abigail Sauceda and husband, Mario; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Isaiah Cuevas, Evan Josiah Cuevas, Aaron Andrew Rodriguez, Isabella Rose Rodriguez, and one on the way due in January.

Las visitas para ofrecerle su respeto serán el jueves, 3 de septiembre 2026 de las 9:00 am hasta las 9:00 pm en la funeraria Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas, 76710. Sus restos serán despedidos el día viernes, 4 de septiembre a las 9:00 am en el cementerio Rosemound, 3201 S. 12th St., Waco, TX, 76706. Así mismo se estará ofreciendo un servicio fúnebre en su memoria en la funeraria Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey a las 10:00 am.

Nació el 20 de abril de 1935 en El Dorado, Chihuahua, México, hija de José Inés Moreno Ríos y Pabla “Paula” Muñoz Morales. Fue la tercera de diez hijos y tuvo la dicha de sobrevivir a todos sus hermanos.

A los 22 años tuvo a su único hijo, Jaime Moreno Blake, con Jorge Antonio Blake Mucharaz.

La precedieron en la muerte sus padres y sus hermanos.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Jaime, y su esposa, Rocío; su nieta, Sarai Cuevas, y su esposo, Irie Friend; su nieto, Josh Blake; y su nieta, Abigail Sauceda, y su esposo, Mario. También le sobreviven sus bisnietos, Ethan Isaiah Cuevas, Evan Josiah Cuevas, Aaron Andrew Rodriguez, Isabella Rose Rodriguez, y un bisnieto más que viene en camino y cuyo nacimiento se espera para enero.
