SHIRLEY KOCHMAN Shirley Jean Kochman, 72, of Waco, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Monday, April 8 at Rodef Sholom Cemetery with Rabbi Seth Stander officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Sunday, April 7 at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Shirley was born June 4, 1929 in Norfolk, Virginia, to William & Catherine Holloway. She married Dr. Peter Lee Kochman on November 22, 1970 & was a longtime member of Temple Rodef Sholom. Shirley will be remembered as a devoted wife & loving mother & grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening & water aerobics. She was preceded in death by her husband October 18, 1989. Survivors: 2 daughters, Heather Walls & husband Michael of Austin & Rachel Kochman of Arlington; 2 sons, Ted Kochman & wife Holly of Waco & Sam Kochman & wife Revka of Baltimore, Maryland; 7 grandchildren, Zachary, Braden & Macy Kochman, Katelyn & Annie Walls, Eli & Sholam Kochman & mother-in-law, Gerda Kochman of Walnut Creek, California. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Corwin, Harry Harelik, Craven Green, Melvin Lipsitz & Richard Gibney. The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Ross Shipp for his years of friendship, compassion & care for our family. Also, our thanks to the wonderful nurses & staff at Hillcrest Hospital.
