Clyde Raymond Wilkins, Jr.

WILKINS, CLYDE R. PETE Clyde R. Pete Wilkins, age 80, of Waco died Tuesday, July 24, 2001 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00AM Friday, July 27th at Oakwood Cemetery with Chaplain Curtis Holland and Rev. Tom Clark officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, July 26th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Wilkins was born June 30, 1921 in Waco where he had lived all of his life. He was a veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps during W.W. II. He married Bessie Mills January 20, 1954. He retired as a Captain on the City of Waco Fire Department after 39 years of service. Mr. Wilkins was a member of Fidelis Lodge #1127 AF & AM and Karem Shrine Temple. Survivors include: Wife: Bessie Wilkins of Waco Sister: Leona Grace Coats of Lake Jackson Several nieces and nephews.
