Dee Wynell Nell Clement March 7, 1915 – April 12, 2007 Dee Wynell Nell Clement, 92, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 in the presence of devoted family friend, Marcy Brown. Graveside services will be 1130 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Mrs. Clement was born March 7, 1915, to W.E. and Thelma Graves at home. After Mr. Graves, Mrs. Graves later married J.R. “Bob” Matthews, known as Daddy Bob to Nell. She was student of the Hoffmanettes Dance Studio and a member of the dance team at Baylor University. She was a graduate of Waco High School and a 1936 graduate of Baylor University. She married John Madison Clement Jr. March 27, 1937. She was a lifelong resident of Waco, Texas and was involved with her husband in numerous local, state and national organizations and clubs. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Clement Barcus and Pattie Clement Milam; her brothers-in-law, Richard Earle and Jesse Rush Milam Jr.; niece and spouse Sue and Larry Goldfine; and nephew J. Rush Milam III. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Frances Clement Earle of York, Maine; nephews, John Madison Clement Milam and his wife Su; and John Earle and wife Babbie; nieces, Mary Milam Wentworth, Elizabeth Murphey Milam, Elinor Earle, Patty Ouimet and her husband, Jacques. She is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to care giver, Minnie Williams, and to Wesley Woods Alzheimer’s Care Center for the wonderful care given Mrs. Clement during the last years of her life.
