Donald Lee Brown February 3, 1958 – October 6, 2016 Donald Lee Brown passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016. Graveside Services will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, at Bruceville-Moore Cemetery, Bruceville, Texas. Donald was born February 3, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan, to James and Carla Brown. He worked as a truck driver for Melveney Trucking. He enjoyed playing the guitar, shooting guns, collecting and watching movies, and experimenting in the kitchen. He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and two nephews, Stanley Smith and Matthew Alvarez. He is survived by his loving mother; sister, Pam Smith and husband, Leroy; brother, James Brown, Jr.; daughter, Melissa Sweeney; son, Donald Brown, II; daughter, Melynda Smith; two nieces, Terri Maedgen and husband, Kenneth, and Carri Alvarez and husband, Ernesto; nephew, James Smith; grandchildren, Cortnie and Travas Smith, Jr., Hunter and Madelyn Brown and Calin Sweeney; great-nephews, Robert Alvarez and Caden Maedgen; and great-niece, Priscilla Alvarez.
