Dora Louise Wall

Dora Louise Wall passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. Memorial Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Waco with Rev. Dr. Matt Snowden officiating. Burial will precede the service at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Dora was born September 15, 1929, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Ernest and Noma Sexton. After graduating from college, she taught Home Economics in Holcomb, Missouri, for two years and then enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It was there she met Morris Wall, and they were married on August 15, 1951. They had two daughters, Deborah Lee and Karen Sue. At age 11, she accepted Jesus as her Savior. When she was 17, she felt God calling her to serve Him in some special ministry, and being a mother, grandmother and pastor’s wife completely fulfilled that calling. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris; and a daughter, Deborah Lee McCord. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Talley and husband, Brent, of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Mindy Lee McCord, Matthew Stephen McCord, Kennon Thomas Talley, Lessye Talley Cam, Sasha Talley Warren, Chelsey Talley Garner and Cassidy Robin Talley.
