Dorothea Jones February 7, 1922 - July 1, 2012 Dorothea Jones of Lorena passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Lorena United Methodist Church with the Pastor Jon Farrer officiating. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dorothea was born February 7, 1922 in Waco, Texas to B. F. and Mattie Harmon. She was president of the Lorena Cemetery Association for many years, a member of Lorena United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larence Jones; a sister, Margaret Bransford. She is survived by one son, David Jones and wife Karen, Houston, TX; one daughter, Margaret Jones, Lorena, TX; one brother, B.F. Harmon, Jr., London, England; one grandson, William Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice, the Lorena Fire Department, the Lorena Cemetery Association or Lorena United Methodist Church.
