Dorothy Roberts

Dorothy Gaynell Roberts passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. Services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Dorothy was born September 21, 1914, in Bridgeport, Texas, to Vaughn and Zoula Miller. Dorothy was educated at San Angelo Junior College and Texas Women’s College in Denton. She moved to Waco in 1945 and was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed aerobics and the Sul Ross Dance Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Lee Roberts, who preceded her in death in 1991; and a brother, Vaughan Miller, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Law and husband, Frank, of Clear Lake, Texas; a son, Joel Roberts of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
