DOUTHIT YOUNG McDANIEL, JR, 74, of Graham, Alabama, formerly of Waco, died July 1, 2001 in Anniston, Ala. Masonic graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2001 at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco Masonic Funeral Committee officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. McDaniel was born December 1, 1926 in Granger, TX. He had lived in Graham, Ala. The past 5 years. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, George N.Denton Masonic Lodge #24 and was a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. McDaniel worked with Shriners, Scottish Rite, Jaycees and was an honorary JCI Senator. His wife, Ethel McDaniel and a granddaughter, Emily McDaniel Jones, preceded him in death Survivors include his son Ross McDaniel and his wife Frieda of Graham, Ala ; his grandson Shane McDaniel and his wife Amy of Piedmont, Ala and two great grandsons: Alan and Kenneth McDaniel.
