Doyle Hoyt Elliott February 15, 1925 - April 24, 2014 Doyle Hoyt Elliott of Beverly Hills passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. Gravesides services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, at Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. Linda Wimberley officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Doyle was born February 15, 1925, in Insull, Kentucky, to Roosevelt and Laura Lowe Elliott. He served in WWII, and retired from the VA Hospital. Doyle was a member of Robinson Drive United Methodist Church in Robinson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Della Lawson and Zelma Dillon; and brother, Willard Elliott. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Vera Helen Elliott of Beverly Hills, Texas; daughter, Donna Weaver and husband, Carl, of China Spring, Texas; sisters, Clora Jones of Conroe, Texas, and Eleanor Joe of Houston; and brother, Glenace Elliott of Colmesneil, Texas.
