Effie Dolores Patterson June 26, 1916 - February 24, 2009 Effie Dolores Patterson of Clifton passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Big Spring, Texas. Dolores was born June 26, 1916, in Rural Lamesa, Texas, to Clark and Amma Cozby. She has been a lifelong Baptist and a member of West Side Baptist Church in Big Spring. She was also a longtime associate at J.C. Penney is Big Spring. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Amma Lee Cozby; her husband, Johnnie Patterson and a brother, John Taylor. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Patterson Bumgardner and husband, Frank, of China Spring, and Loretta Patterson Zenke of West Bend, Wisconsin; one sister, Joyce Dawson of Melbourne, Florida; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
