Esther Castro of Waco passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Benjamin Magnaye officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Rosary and Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Esther was born April 15, 1917, in Crawford, Texas, to Agustin and Concepcion Castillo. Esther was a loving housewife, and both Esther and her husband were founding members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Angel Castro; two sisters, Josefa Castilleja and Enedina Puente; and two brothers, Antonio and Ramon Castillo.
