Esther Teat

Esther Teat Esther Itschner Teat, age 87, passed away April 10, 2002 in Jackson, TN. Services will be 9:30 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Wikirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., with Rev. Pamela Dykehouse officiating. Interment will follow at Closner Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Esther was born in Elm Mott on December 3, 1914 to C.C. and Mollie Itschner. She attended Elm Mott public schools and Four C Business College. She was a long-time member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and later joined Lakeshore United Methodist Church. Esther was a loyal Baylor University employee and worked at the BSU center from 1972 until her retirement in 1985. She is survived by her son James Teat and wife, Linda of Jackson TN. Pallbearers will be Rick Davidson, Sam Shurtleff, Billy Onion, Tom Dean and Steve Hensel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s National Association.
