Evelyn Marie Jordan February 20, 1923 - December 26, 2014 Evelyn Marie Jordan of Woodway, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, at her residence. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at Waco Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. David Story and Rev. Alec Ylitalo officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Evelyn was born February 20, 1923, in Chilton, Texas, to Loron and Susan Whitt. Evelyn was a long time member of Richfield Christian Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Edward Jordan, Sr.; and brothers, Ned, Thomas and Albert Whitt, and Cecil Butch Buhl. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Jordan Ireland of Benton, Arkansas; one son, Ed Jordan and wife, Amy, of Hewitt, Texas; one sister, Ruth Butler of Waco; grandchildren, Tiffany Carlson and husband, Chris, Ethan Jordan and wife, Missy, Heather Hinz and husband, Bill, Leigh Ann Bledsoe and husband, Jeremy, and Brent Sigler and wife, Cara; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
