Frances Louise Conant November 9, 1916 - February 7, 2016 Frances Louise Conant of Waco passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Stilwell Retirement Residence. Her memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, at Stilwell Retirement Residence. Fran was born November 9, 1916, in Waco, Texas, to Clarence and Willie James. She was a volunteer at Providence Hospital, Austin Avenue United Methodist Church and Latin American Community Center. Fran was a woman of great integrity and discipline and had a good sense of humor. She was a wonderful mother and was dearly loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allah B. Conant; and a brother, Weldon James. She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Conant and husband, Harry Strachan, of Costa Rica; one son, A. B. Conant, Jr., of Trinidad, Texas; four granddaughters; and five great-granddaughters.
