Gloria Lee Fagen, incredible wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of 90.
Gloria married Clifford Lee Fagen on June 7, 1952, in Santa Monica California. They remained faithfully joined in marriage until Clifford’s passing in 2021, sharing over seven decades of love, devotion, and partnership.
Gloria was the ever-faithful wife of a United States Marine. During her husband’s 29 years of military service, she stood strong, faithfully supporting him while managing two sons with grace and resilience. She was deeply proud of all his contributions during his service, understanding that military service was a shared sacrifice. She embraced life fully and modeled perseverance and patience through every season.
Gloria was very active in the United Methodist Women’s group. She was secretary for many years and took pride in her contributions to help her church.
In their later years, Gloria and Clifford embraced life together, spending their years traveling the world. They cherished every adventure, creating memories that reflected their deep bond and joy in life together.
Gloria cherished her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and took great joy in watching multiple generations grow. She was deeply proud of her family and grateful to see her legacy continue. “Her children arise and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:28).
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford Lee Fagen; her son, Richard Clark Fagen; her mother, Pearl Paulson; her father, Edgar Paulson; and her brother, Oryndale Paulson.
She is survived by her son Donald Lee Fagen, and wife, Barbara; granddaughter Kristen Hobbs, and husband, Weldon, with great granddaughter Addison; granddaughter Jenna Haralson, and husband Beau, with great grandson Elisha and great granddaughter Emelia; daughter in law Pamela Fagen; granddaughter Jenifer Hutchinson, and husband, Scott, with great grandson Sayre and great granddaughter Briley; and grandson Bryan Fagen, and wife, Doshira; and her sister Victory Saunders, with niece Leann Wyek and nephews Lawrence Saunders and Jeffrey Saunders.
She is now reunited in heaven with those who went before her. As Scripture reminds us, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). Though she will be deeply missed, there is comfort in knowing she is whole, healed, and resting in eternal peace with her Lord and Savior.
Gloria Lee Fagen will always be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet wisdom, steadfast faith, and devoted service to both God and country.
A memorial celebration will be held this summer in Colorado, to honor the gift of both Gloria and Clifford Fagen.
Glorias family invites you to share a message or memories in her "Memorial Guestbook" online at www.WHBfamily.com.
