Harriet Rose Stupak Tocker passed away on June 10, 2026, at her home in Waco.
Services will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, 10:30 am, with Rabbi Ben-Zion Lanxner officiating at the Agudath Jacob Cemetery in Waco.
Harriet was born in Waco on November 16, 1948. Harriet graduated from Richfield High School and the University of Houston with a BA in Education. She was a Teacher in Waco ISD and the Houston ISD at the Elementary level. She was married to James Tocker and later returned to Waco and became a Realtor.
Harriet loved family, friends, animals and politics. She was enthusiastic about everything. She never met a stranger. Harriet drew people to her and made them feel special. She was a wonderful friend to everyone with her outgoing personality.
Harriet was preceded in death by her father, Irving Stupak, her mother, Deana Frindell Stupak.
Survivors include a sister, Ellen Joy Stupak-Shaw, spouse Richard Shaw, and brother, Michael Scott Stupak. Others are Harriet’s Niece, Annie Shaw, spouse Paul Salvayon, Nephews Carl Shaw, spouse Evguenia, Alex Shaw, Grandnieces/nephews Rich, Sofia, Isabella and Liam and other family.
Special appreciation to Robbie Jones, a devoted friend and caregiver who was her constant companion.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all Nieces and Nephews, Robbie Jones, the TWIGS and Harriet’s dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Congregation Agudath Jacob, Fuzzy Friends or a charity of your choice.
