Heather Marie Maynard

Heather Marie Maynard passed away Monday, October 31, 2022. Visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Heather was born March 26, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio, to Hansel Maynard and Elizabeth Maynard. Heather got her happiness from loving others especially her sons, Dustin and Darin. Friends and family often referred to Heather as a giver; she was the most amazing woman anyone could ever imagine. Heather was having the time of her life when she was on the back seat of a Harley with the love of her life Billy, with not a worry in the world. Heather and her husband Billy shared a love that only some could dream of. Heather had fought a courageous battle against breast cancer since 2011.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and America Maynard

She is survived by her parents, Hank Maynard and Elizabeth Hall; husband, Billy Chalfant; children, Dustin Murphy, Darin Murphy, and Rebecca Chalfant; and siblings, Helen Lucas, Jeremy Maynard, Teresea Schuman, and Alicia Rooney.
