Helen Alexander Burt April 29, 1925 - June 11, 2012 Helen Alexander Burt passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. Church services will be 11:00 a.m., June 13, at the First Baptist Church, China Spring, with Rev. Michael Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Helen was born April 29, 1925, to Jesse and Lexie Wells. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her daughters, George W. Alexander; and the late, Charles Talbert Burt; her sister, Mary Hopkins; and her brother, Elvin Wells. She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Jeffus, Kathy Gist and Glinda Scott; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sisters, Ollie Wales and Ruby Meregle.
