Malcolm Hart January 14, 1927 - February 17, 2015 James Malcolm Hart of Waco passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. His services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Steven Ramsdell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Malcolm was born January 14, 1927, in Dallas, Texas, to Manford and Mildred Hart. He graduated from Red Oak High School and the Class of 1948 from Texas A&M University. Malcolm and Nell French were married August 14, 1949. After working as an insurance adjuster, he began his career with State Farm Insurance as an agent in 1959, and retired after 37 years. He and Nell have traveled all over the world. He was active in Masonic and Karem Shrine and transported children to Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas and Houston. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco. He was preceded in death by his parent; and his running buddies, Eddie Hepler, Jake Jacobson and Louis Jamison. He is survived by wife of 66 years, Nell Hart of Waco; son, Gary Craig Hart and wife, Jane, of Waco; and daughter, Dana Hart Ferguson of Granbury, Texas; granddaughters, Monica Anne Hart of Lubbock, Texas, and Kaitlin Ferguson of Waco. Pallbearers are Chuck Becker, Sonny Southern, Randall Roberts, George Dethlefsen, Bart Romig, Leonard Englander, Bill Wetterman, Jack Winningham and Fred Khoury.
