James Otis Russell

James Otis Russell, 68, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2003, at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 8 to 8:45 a.m., Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Directors, 1124 Washington Ave. Graveside services will follow at 9 a.m. at Restland Cemetery. Mr. Russell was born on Aug. 18, 1934, in Annona, Texas. He was a pipefitter and truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Erskine Russell Sr.; and brothers, Erskine Russell Jr. and Edward Kyle Russell. Survivors include mother, Mamie Russell of Waco; brother, Mike Russell of Waco; sister, Ruth Thornton of Waco; son, Wesley Russell of Waco; daughters, Gena Marcum of West and Kristen Russell of Rosenthal.
