Jimmy Wray, 84, of Cleburne, entered the gates of Heaven, with a new healthy body and dancing on the streets of gold. We are rejoicing that he is Home and welcomed into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. While there will be a hole in our hearts, this side of Heaven, our tears are happy ones for him.

Visitation will be held 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodard Ave., in Cleburne. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Payne and Rev. Todd Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.

Jimmy was born February 2, 1942, in Cleburne to Robert Samuel Wray and Myrtle Ruth Watson Wray. He was a long-time and well-known Funeral Director in Cleburne, having been recently awarded his 60th year pin of service to the families of Johnson County.

Jimmy was very active in the community, but his love in life was serving his Lord and Savior through the Ministry of funeral service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carol Puckett Wray; his son, Scott Wray and wife, Maria; his niece, Sammie Sheppard, whom he loved as a daughter and her husband, Fred; two grandchildren, Alex Wray and Hailey Wray; two great-nieces, Kathy Hiett and husband, Charles, and Hanah Gibson and husband, Colton; twin great great-niece and nephew, Madilyn Hiett and his name sake, James Parker Hiett.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Watson, Mark Echoles, Rick Ripley, Ben Sheppard, Darrell Lackey, Charles Hiett and Colton Gibson.
