Jane Fortescue Bartoli

BARTOLI, JANE FORTESCUE Jane Faithful Fortescue Bartoli, age 94 died Wednesday, January 07, 2004 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 10 at Lorena Cemetery with Rev. Frank Mangum officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Friday, January 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jane was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania December 26, 1909. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh. She was a concert pianist, having played in Carnegie Hall. She married Lino Bartoli, a Pittsburgh Symphony violinist and moved to Texas when Lino accepted Baylor University professorship. Jane was educated with a wonderful sense of humor and was well loved by her family and friends. Memorials may be made to Lorena Cemetery Association or Providence Hospice.
